Charity is given voluntarily. That which is extracted at the point of a gun is something else entirely, and conflating the two makes me want to vomit. People should be hating the system (or at least elected representatives) and not the recipients of the transfer payments. It isn't food stamp recipients holding the gun to your head -- it is politicians.
