coming from a family with a strong military service record, I have to say I’ve lost so much respect for the military....
My Dad spent 27 years in. 3 wars, and he died in Vietnam. I did 25 years in, although the ‘combat time’ I got flying was NOTHING like what my Dad went through. My son has done 2 combat tours with the Army. My son-in-law did 2 tours in Iraq with the USMC in infantry.
But the honor and integrity I expected was slipping away even before I retired in 2008. And now? Like the rest of our society, it has turned upside down, with evil being called good and good evil.
