Much of the medical profession is being held hostage, unable to practice medicine anywhere as well as the aggregate wisdom knows how. Those medical professionals who are compelled to carry out medical practices they KNOW are not in the patients’ best interests, while being stiffed on payment for services rendered, by getting a low-ball payment for the services they provide, or denied payment altogether, may very well in the end, decide that the practice of medicine, in the territory once known as the “United States of America”, is no longer their life’s calling, and either surrender their licenses, or remove to another country altogether.
The law of unintended consequences is under full enforcement. The only real crime, and one that is always prosecuted in the highest courts of the universe, is stupidity.
I don’t believe the consequences were unintentional. They’ve known all along what they’re doing. There are millions of people in this country who want socialism. Maybe as many as half. They believe their lifestyle will improve. More than likely it will drop a few notches. By then it will be too late.
Disagree. I believe that the result of doctors quitting, and new doctors stopping training before gaining a specialty, is intended to increase the number of Americans dying of preventable causes. Further, the government gets to pick who lives and who dies. This is the big prize.
