No, the attention is being drawn to the process of signing up for Obamacare, not the disaster of the policies and requirements.
Pretty soon they will be reporting that all is good now.
Leftist can obscure reality better than anyone else.
“The website is owned and run by Canadians who have experiece with the Canadian NHS ...”
Yeah - SOME experience ...
Read it and weep:
If it had been delayed a year, this would be the big news next October, not this October. Not a good lead-in to the election. Who knows what the news will be focused on in a year. And I don’t believe the programmers would have fixed the site before release with another year. If they even knew it had these fundamental problems now, Obama would have taken the GOP up on the delay. And if they couldn’t anticipate it now, they wouldn’t have next year either.
If there are no cards how does one prove one has insurance? Or is that on the honor system?
Why won’t the republicans have “talking points”? All they have to do is every time they’re interviewed is ask “Where hundreds of million dollars go set up the website? That’s money that could be used to pay military families.”
Fustercluck, thy name is Obama.
Yep, the Honor System, kind of like being a Democrat Voter.
You get a card from the insurance company you’re enrolled with. The exchanges don’t do anything but figure your rates and pass your info onto the company you chose. In many cases that’ll be the company the individual already has, but with reduced coverage.
The disaster of the Web Site is an apt harbinger of what lies in the future.
Having a insurance card does not guarantee you that you will be seen by a Physician and that you will be seen in a timely manner. The whole thing as baloney
If Wolf Blitzer, CBS, Jon Stewart, et al, see the massive failure of the registration process already, we just need to let Obama's signature accomplishment "twist in the wind" a few weeks more and even dingy Harry will be begging the Republicans to help him delay all of Obamacare one more year.
If 20,000,000 of the 40,000,000 uninsured are going to sign up in the next 200 days, that's 100k successful registrations a day. Connecticut's Healthcare website has signed up 1,700 folks in 11 days. That's more than the Feds have throughout the rest of the country.
An Ebay or Amazon might triage and patch-up a massive Web app that is massively failing in 2-3 months, but not with Federal govt. red tape applied by Obama and HHS.
