Peculiar that the movie would identify Haman as a "Persian" since they were in Persia. In the Bible, he's identified as "Agagite" which if you check in the first book of Samuel, would make him a descendent of Agag, an Amalekite. They are the ancient foes of Israel from whom, some believe, the "Palestinians" and some of the more virulent jihadists come.

At any rate, the belief is that Iran has always contained both the Persian element, such as the Shah, and the Amalekite represented by the Khomeinis/Khameinis (which is derived from Haman)

Please feel free to ignore the above flurry of insanity.

I am sure you are right. I just said “Persian” as that is where they were. For all I know the movie may have properly identified him as I was sort to watching two shows at the same time.
