Levin has said, and I think he is correct - that Obama wants this shutdown and a standoff over the Debt ceiling for the sole purpose of justifying a unilateral decree to raise the debt limit by E.O. and set a precedent to become more than just a defacto dictator - but dictator in-full.

The narrative is that the Tea Party Conservatives are holding the country “hostage” and acting like “anarchists”; “terrorists” and “Traitors”. Even the GOP Ruling Class Leadership is on that bandwagon.

That gives Obama cover to simply and officially circumvent Congress altogether and rule by himself under the cassus belli that he cannot allow the country to ‘default’ and the ‘working men and women to suffer’ because of “politics”.

That’s win-win for Obama and the media has already suggested that course of action for him to follow.

What is at work here, is the official implementation of a dictatorial tyranny.

We’re just now beginning to see the iron fist petulant tactics that will become much more pronounced and targeted against enemies of the MarxoFascist state.

We will have but only one option left us to defend our liberties and nobody is even willing to let that thought enter their minds - so it may be a lost cause altogether.

Did you happen to read the comments on that article? Sheesh I spent a good hour and some reading thru their arguements and statements.

It will give you a very good snapshot on how the Democrats are looking at this recent “talk” and they are squarely behind Obama and the Senate.....believing this is all the Republicans fault....and this with their explanations.

Not surprisingly ‘everything’ we’re complaining and saying and debating and arguing about them they are saying about us and Boehner and the Tea Party...it’s stunningly similar! They use the same language just supporting their side and blamming the other side.

However...One wrote the following which I agree with....As follows:

“The executive branch (Obama) does not authorize spending,
this is the legislative branch’s (Congress’s) responsibility. (Specifically the House).

The argument against our Federal debt and debt ceiling limits are ‘internal legislative branch conflicts’.

The President can ‘mediate’ differences ....But the President does work for the Congress, nor does the Congress work for the President.

It seems to me that the negotiations should be taking place between and among the Senate (Reid) and House (Boehner) leadership, ....not the White House.”

With that in mind How is it that Obama is constantly saying “I” will not negotiate when in fact his job is to mediate between them....not set the “redline” as he’s doing.

Yet the demorats keep saying they support Obama and that HE needs to stay strong and not bend. HE does not decide on these matters...Congress does....

If this whole mess has done me any good at all it’s gaining a wider understanding of not only how Gov. works but why it isn’t working. Obama steps out of his area of authority all the time. He clearly has no understanding of what his role is in this...which IS to “talk” and mediate between the two sides...Not stand as a dicktator!
