I can only give her 1/3 credit. One third credit for working, but 1/3 against her for not having a stable home life with a husband and father of her kids, 1/3 against her for assuming that she is entitled to fabulous money to support her for life in what is supposed to be an entry level job.
Frankly she’d be better off finding one of those 1-800-DISABLE lawyer outfits.
I’m surprised more of these kind of operations are not “up or out”...basically if you work there for three years without getting a promotion, you get let go.
She may be trying to make it stable. Having daddy around is not just her choice.
I know one young lady who would have made it to the wedding with a 'bump' in the dress, but the groom to be was caught in bed with an old girlfriend a week before the wedding. She toughed it out, dumped the guy (who is currently a drug addict and waste of oxygen), and had the kid. A bright, beautiful child.
She is still looking to make that a family of three, but her options would have been equally or more bleak with the guy as without him.
Yep, she is having a hard go of it, but she's working--and not expecting money for nothing.
Better money in food services as a server in a sit-down restaurant--at least they get tips.
