In the current fight over the government shutdown, Republicans are simply representing the views of the American people.
Americans didn't ask for Obamacare, they don't want it, but now their insurance premiums are going through the roof, their doctors aren't accepting it, and their employers are moving them into part-time work -- or firing them -- to avoid the law's mandates.

Imagine your health care tied to the govt shutdown.
Ann is better than David Brooks and Kathleen Parker—but not much.
the only reason the government is shut down right now is that Democrats refuse to fund the government if they are required to live under Obamacare.
Debbie Washerwoman Shultz says the shut down is the fault
of the republican government. Who knew?
Bookmarked.
That works just fine... as long as my diseases and ailments shutdown as well.
“No doctors who went to an American medical school will be accepting Obamacare.”
Are Doctors who went to an American medical schools banned in the bill or is she just guessing non will want to be part of it?

my perception of what little IQ goes down everytime she opens her mouth.
Is it me or does it look like Jarrett is mild melding with 0 in that pic and working him like a puppet?

All discussion of David Vitter's amendment to strip any and all special exceptions and waivers from the ACA has been shoved down the memory hole by the media.
Time to start hitting that talking point again; the Dems are extremely vulnerable on that issue.
IMHO, the biggest reason Obama is holding firm on no compromise on OBAMASCARE is because he knows if he agrees to a full postponement for 1 year for everyone, the implementation and hiring of the infrastructure necessary to fully run it will be delayed as well....a reprieve. With gov’t employees hired and in place, it’s much harder to un-do the law.
The sticker shock is just starting to set in; and the screaming is getting muffled by the shutdown crisis scam driven by the media. Once the masses fully absorb the reality of Obamacare costs, this thing is dead in the water. Once everyone affected gets fully engaged, and wise to the crushing premiums, a delay means certain death.....and right now, only individuals and small companies are affected. Wait until the rest of America gets their bill next year....after the mid-terms.
This isn’t about healthcare. This is about eliminating the current healthcare system by running all the competition out of business.....by defining what is acceptable.... by law.
Once private providers are gone, the only option is single payer. Can you imagine the scare tactics used then by the Dem’s every election cycle? If you want any healthcare, you gotta vote DEM, or die.
While I’m encouraged that the Republicans may actually hold the line in the house, I’m also a realist. The closer the debt ceiling gets, the more pressure each side will feel, and start cobbling together self-savings gimmicks that give both sides a “win”...and a big loss for Americans.
The secret has always been in the states. Aside from all of the media’s ginned up theatre, I believe the Governors and state houses will ultimately be the patriots that tell the Federal government that they have gone far too far.
LOL

And an understatement at that...
