I get that. But I believe in choosing my battles. One way a person can fight this is to start taking out their SS at the earliest age possible. Another is to cash out 401k’s as early as possible, take the tax hit and put the money in PM’s, real estate, or other things that are a bit harder for the FedGov to confiscate.
