The funny part is I don't remember my own phone numbers, only the current ones.

Ring a bell?

In California, when I was 11, our phone number was Edgewood (ED) 35314. When I was a toddler, it was Sycamore (SY) 95171.

I don’t remember our phone number from Massachusetts, but my mother drummed “19 Hancock Street, Worcester, Massachusetts”
into my tiny head. She told me that if I got lost, I should tell a policeman my address.

Worcester is pronounced Wuh-stah in Massachusetts.
