An off-duty undercover NYPD cop who denied any involvement as his fellow bikers ripped a father from his SUV and beat him has been seen on video smashing the rear window, it emerged today. The footage apparently shows the unnamed officer, who is a veteran of seven years, banging on the window and shattering it before the driver was pulled from the vehicle. The cop then rides away from the scene, sources told NBC. The video, which is being reviewed, is not the same as that which has been widely circulated following the September 29 attack.
Sources added to the New York Post that the cop initially told investigators he did not intervene because he arrived too late to stop the vicious beating.

I can tell you that if some pavement ape started banging on the driver's window of any car down here, things would have ended very differently.
I hope all the Yankees that are moving down here realize some of the crap they pulled in their own hellhole ain't gonna fly down here.
Of course I’ve heard of Clockwork Orange, everybody heard about it back then, everybody. However not till today did I realize the ‘YOBS’ were walking around in such a manner, wearing their jock straps on the outside of the clothing. How could I have missed that? Very, what, avant garde?
Somebody reviewing the tape must have recognized him and he got warned about being identified. Now his first story about not being involved in the violence falls apart. The next useful info on this will be the reaction of the union. If they step aside publicly, he is toast. The union will still back him financially through his legal issues.

I agree with your sentiments about New York, but you should be aware that not all ‘Yankees’ think alike when it comes to the Second Amendment and personal protection. All it takes in my Northern state to carry concealed at any time is something to prove you’ve celebrated your 16th birthday. We’re currently experiencing a mini-invasion of these thugs from the Bronx. They mostly stick to the larger cities (+20k population), because they know the folks living in the sticks have deep, dark forests and don’t call 911.
Guess I won’t be going back to NYC anytime soon.
I don’t see anything
“Obviously, you hate cops....so sayeth the FR bootlickers.”
Nothing gets them working harder than when one of THEIR OWN (yes one more Balkanization of the citizens into another special splinter group) is in trouble.
Well, buddy, when the public assigns SOME of their “Creator Given rights” to cops which allows them more rights than the citizens, then you damned well better believe it we hate them with a passion when they abuse their power.
Why does it always take a commission to force the usually unionized cops to clean up their own house. Seems to me if you are given special power then you damned well better make sure you and your brothers treat that citizen given power with a hell of a lot more respect.

As one who has rocked a car out of a snow drift on numerous occasions it would have been completely natural to shift into rev then fwd then rev then fwd repeatedly until the threat was put down.
so he lied. He arrived too late to help he said, but he was the one who broke the glass to pull the guy through
these cops probably started the gang
Yea, probably...
The gang is Dominican based hence the black hispanic.
Thug needs to be in pound-me-in-the-ass-prison! Cops are loved so well there.
I have worked with many blacks , Many were nice guys, but get them in with a bunch of blacks and within seconds they fit right in.
I would have ran his ass over and braked hard on his chest.
Isn't that what this whole fiasco is about?
Gee, thanks.
I generally support cops, but I call them out when they do wrong and abuse their power(s)
My point was that when you stand against their corruption and call tem out, you're labeled as a cop hater by some here on FR.
That's all.
Next time they need a bigger truck.
Or a 40 foot RV.
