Purchase of Michele Obama exercise and healthy living videos will be mandatory.

Ohh, Lardy! You finally thought of something more disgusting than those Jane Fonda workout tapes.

There’s more to life than its length. Good habits make for a better life irrespective of its length

My philosophy is, “As long as you can get out of bed on your own, dress yourself, eat your meals and use the bathroom alone, you are not doing too bad contrary to what anyone else says.”

Every morning when I wake up, I do 10 repeats, up, down, up down, then I do my other eye lid the same way.

Oh boy!

In addition to the fifteen minute lecture on tobacco use (not even smoking), I can spend another fifteen minutes waiting to get a cut sewn up listening to the "healthy eating" tirade.

See?

TWICE as much time with my physician!

I am sure he will be thrilled.

When I quit smoking, I thought I would now get the no smoking rates.

So I took up 'smokeless tobacco'.

They changed the rules on me to include that under "tobacco user ", even though it doesn't crud up my lungs...

You can't win with the health nazis.

Thats an easy one.. tell them you quit smoking.

Quit long enough to pass their silly test, heck illegal drug users have been beating those things for years.. you can to.

In this day and age, I flat out refuse to tell any govt agency I smoke, and now I can include doctors in that list as well. Thankfully I am healthy and aside from a few bumps and bruises over the years and a few checkups, I have not seen a doctor regularly for ages. If they ask if I smoke, I always say no.

I’m surprised that you don’t require a short nap to overcome the stress from such heavy activity!

LOL

Isn’t retirement wonderful?

I have a classmate who swims every morning, hikes, snow skis (biathlon) , runs road races & doesn’t drink (not even coffee), & can wear his old cadet uniform.

I really should put him on retainer to do all those things in my stead. Otherwise I feel kind of guilty.

;^)
