We need to get behind 1 challenger so that Linsthy cannot divide and conquer. No, we don't. From the article ......
South Carolina is technically a runoff state, so if the challengers work together to keep Graham under 50 percent, they can get to a runoff election with the candidate who comes in second challenging Graham. Conservatives point to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his election in Texas as an example of the model they plan to use to win. Cruz technically lost the primary to Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, the establishment's pick for U.S. Senate, but he won in the ensuing runoff.

Trey Gowdy?
Gohmert could kick Cornyn’s ass just like Cruz did David Dewdrop. Dewdrop was shocked that his pretty boy image and money were of no use to him in the debate against Cruz. Cruz politely mopped up the floor with Dewdrop, thanked him and left.
Louie could hand Cornyn’s head to him on a stick.

The media is working hard to discredit anyone that is assoicated to the Tea Party. Graham may be primaried, but will the winning Tea party person be rendered unelectable by the media? Tough row to hoe, but whats to lose? RINO or Democrat, same damned thing.

He is terrified. They have been running campaign-style ads here in the upstate S.C. imploring how really, really conservative he is.

... but will the winning Tea party person be rendered unelectable by the media?NOT in South Carolina! (IMHO) Maybe some S.C. FReepers can weigh in on this too. Go Gamecocks!
To: Farnsworth
That isn’t going to be a problem in SC. The media doesn’t determine who wins, if it did we’d still have John Spratt in office. Several other counties in the state have similar censure resolutions in the works for Lindsey. We hope to send him into early retirement.

Linda: “Oh John, I’ve lost the election. It seems you’re the only friend I have left.”
McCain: “I’ll be there for you. Crazy busy now but have your people call my people and we’ll get together real soon.”
Linda: “...But I don’t have any people.”
