I’ve had insurance coverage on me since my 20s and at that age I can see going without it perhaps until marriage, but at 51? By that age, medical stuff is likely brewing whether you know it or not.

there ya go

we were both healthy too until one Saturday morning and one heart attack

the hospital bill for 3 days was $44,000 and that didn’t include everythng

the cardiac therapy and medication regime continues

the good news is eventually they WILL qualify for a subsidy
The bad news is they’ll be living in their car
