IMO, there is no need for other, non-uniformed and not actively engaged personnel running around when those charged with security are already in place.
We're not talking about NEED, we're talking about preserving our RIGHTS.
That's the real issue here.

we're talking about preserving our RIGHTS. I hear you. I am with you. I am just commenting on the fact that if an organization is going to ban firearms in a venue where Security is engaged, then it should apply to ALL, even off duty LEO. They are NOT special. They take off the uniform, they are subject to the rules, just like the rest of us.
The only way people "Get It" is when they have to "Live It".
I never patronize a business or organization that wants to take away my rights.
