Why should that argument be restricted to unarmed LEOs? The remainder of the citizenry deserves the same ability defend themselves that the police do.
Nevertheless it’d be the lesser of two evils to be in a stadium where at least cops are armed vs. no one but the criminals being armed.
I can’t imagine if they took a poll that most of their attendees would want the cops to be disarmed. Of course if they asked if they wanted a “gun-free zone,” a lot of fools would probably answer yes to that.
