They are lame attempts by their mothers to indicate that they aren’t American; they do the labeling themselves that the Klan did in the past. Their determination to classify themselves as a separate subgroup, which helps prevent assimilation, has attained the Klan’s goal beyond their wildest dreams.
The time may come, when these made up names are considered racist, like "Rastus" and "Sambo" are today.
