Suspended District Judge Kelly S. Ballentine will be allowed to return to the bench, according to an order released Tuesday by the state Court of Judicial Discipline.
Ballentine will be under probation through Dec. 31, 2014, according to the order.
Ballentine was criminally charged last February ...

A lot of judges make their own rules. Some will refer to it as “My court.” I am thinking .... it’s not your court. It’s the people’s court.
