It's the truth, isn't it? I've always enjoyed reading his posts, ever since I started lurking here. It's like listening to a fellow Southerner carry on a conversation on the front porch.

And he's so right about Southern women...we don't need to shout, and we age well. ;)

Yes, you’re right. He’s absolutely delightful!

It’s my hope to make his acquaintance in person one day, along with his beautiful wife.

Like I already told you, I also I hope wardaddy & family can make it to one the Texas Memorial Shoots. Jim always attends and the Shoots are great times.

I agree, Catherine. And for northerners like me (I live in The People's Republik of Connecticut), wardaddy's comments are a very interesting learning experience (I mean that in a very good way).
