Actually, in anticipation of CNN possibly getting this wrong, the number of planets was reduced to eight when Pluto was demoted to an asteroid that's part of the Kuiper Belt.
Close enough...CNN got the planet correct in 1 out of nine possibilities. Geography does not appear to be a CNN strong suit.
