So at the same time the msm is insisting that shrillery is a lock in 2016, they’re also so deathly afraid that a President Cruz might appoint Ginsberg’s successor that they’re trying to kick her to the curb now.
What gives?

This article tells you everything you need to know about what they really think about 2016.

If Hillary! was a mortal lock for the Presidency, as everybody insists that she is, they would not care when Ruth Bader Ginsburg retires.

But they think it is important that Ginsburg retire right now.

I think they know, full well, that Hillary! does not have a snowball's chance in 2016, so they are getting as many things as they can set in stone now, before the deluge. They will try to talk the Democrats up for the next few years, either because they think they might have a chance of being effective or out of force of habit. But at the end of the day, they see gravity taking hold.

Hillary! got her butt kicked by a two-year Senator of marginal abilities and non-existent accomplishments back in 2008. What makes anybody think she would do better in 2016?

Furthermore, I think they are worried about the Democrat Senate in 2014. If the Republicans swing the Senate, another Justice Kagan might actually be subject to some scrutiny.

They want Ginsburg gone now so her successor can be in place well before the 2014 elections.
