I think Obama should change his name since it’s offensive to a sizable number of people.
But as Shakespeare noted, “a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet”, and a Barak by any other name would still be just as petty, clueless and incompetent...

To a functioning dictator the wee stuff is every bit as important as the big things. Obedience to his whim is the principle involved and obedience to the small stuff is what proves his position. In the USSR one was just as soon shot for disapproving Stalin’s secretary’s shoes as for plotting revolution.

Good gravy. Is there absolutely no issue that he can’t just shut up about it?
No, of course not. He’s a narcissist, and every hangnail has to be All About Him.

If Zero was the owner of the Skins, they would be 0-16 and he would blame the other NFL teams for not playing fair. Of course I am assuming as the owner he could keep the team out of bankruptcy long enough to finish a season. An unlikely scenario.

"I dont care ...how many times does this need to be posted already."I don't care, either, but the tone of this headline is decidedly different from those previous. It was merely annoying when the other articles mentioned that he opined. Who cares, indeed?
But this headline implies that his opinion is, or should have, some degree of import. That's not a good message to send to the American people. He's a friggin' faux 'football fan', who probably doesn't know a damned thing about the game, given his upbringing and demonstrated 'vast knowledge' of other sports.
He's, in the words of Mark Levin, a temporary politician. A dangerous, destructive, self-aggrandizing, America-hating politician, but a temporary one when all is said and done.

Where does this insanity end? In a properly functioning dictatorship it is not insanity. It is the will of the ruler which must be obeyed in the tiny things as well as the great because the ruler personally owns everything in his realm.

Unfortunately for President Obama, this will NEVER happen unless the NFL league offices help defray part of the cost of the name changeover.

“Obama, in an interview with The Associated Press, said team names such as the Redskins offend “a sizable group of people.” He said that while fans get attached to the names, nostalgia may not be a good enough reason to keep them in place. “
If they think they are offended, how about this group of Native Americans?

Maybe they should just rename the team the Washington Reds, I think he would like that.
