the definition of situational ethics personified...One Obamabot on there says the ACA says you cannot pay more than 8% of your income for healthcare. What?! I punched all our numbers into Covered Ca and they come back at 30% if you add premiums and deductibles and the total out of pocket.
I am sooooo confused.
Covered CA says our premiums would be $1197 per month with a $5k deductible and total out of pocket $18840 for the year. That is 1/3 of our take home pay. We currently pay $1k a mnth with a very low deductible and low copays.
