A portion of the website of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) was apparently hacked as long as two months ago. SAMHSA is an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). HHS also runs the new Obamacare insurance marketplace, Healthcare.gov.
Dozens of pages hawking retail merchandise have been uploaded to the SAMHSA site, ranging from NFL jerseys to Ugg shoes to Armani fragrances.

Public sector lives off tax dollars taken with no decision made by the taxpayer. Private sector lives off providing products or services people are willing to pay for. If you don’t see the difference, I was correct. You are a fed gov dept head.
Wrong again, but written like a true conspiracy guy. Taxpayers elected and re-elect those who implement tax policy, they have implicitly endorsed the decisions via democracy - mostly due to willful ignorance - and are responsible for their own demise.
The hidden hand is your own, in the voting booth.
Look at the choices of candidates we've had....not a dime's worth of difference.
You didn’t say whether you think the public sector and private sector should operate the same way. I don’t dispute that the public sector abuses their civil service positions due to a total lack of accountability and oversight by those people elected to represent the people and unhold the constitution.
Whose fault is that. There will only be 2 choices, and people can’t be bothered beyond that. The best any 3rd party candidate did was Perot. The late night comedians laughed him away for the “2” parties. And the people ate it all up, he did have funny ears.
Any 3rd party that tries to start is piled on by the 2 gorillas, which are really on the same team. In the end most the population will do what the TV tells them to during halftime.
But they do work the same, people are inherently greedy and lazy no matter where employed. Managers public and private waste all the money they can at the end of the year to get more. They go to the same conferences and sometimes become newsworthy.
Anyway, I’m not sure we disagree as much as you think. And I am off for a bit. Regards.
I know they both abuse it. But in a private sector environment the board of directors will stop the waste if the comapny is under performing and the stock holders will also see that the CEO goes looking for a new job. There is pressure to make a profit. In the public sector there is no oversight. Congress (the board of directors) and the executive branch (CEO)can be fired by the voters but unlike share holders too many voters don’t know what is going on because there is no real annual report and most voters don’t have a clue anyway. There is no pressure to be efficient just raise the tax rates and screw the damn voters. This is the core of what is wrong with the public sector.
Could this pathetic monstrosity be more of a joke?
My God. What happened to my country?
Just a prank I’m sure, nobody actually ordering from it heh heh.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
