To what end? If Republicans get control of both houses, then they can, if they are honest about free market solutions, get rid of it and let the markets right the wrong.
However, what scares me most is the push for amnesty and this happening at the same time. If all those illegals are made legal in anyway, I’m scared sh!tless that the single payer will finally come to America.
I didn’t say that this was designed by democrats only.

Having both houses won’t stop Obama’s veto unless it’s a supermajority, which is almost impossible to get.
The insurance companies were told to cover pre-existing conditions, and were promised they’d get millions more in young, healthy signing up. When that part of the plan fails, the insurance companies could go out of business or raise rates further. Which will help the argument for single payer.
At the same time we at least have another argument now that government can’t do this sort of thing well.
But the difficult fight and unintended consequences loom large for the foreseeable future. We don’t have a clear path for overturning Obamacare and avoiding single payer.

We should all be very concerned about this. As I understand, it’s being worked on behind closed doors now by some House members including Ted Poe in Houston.
Suspect they think everyone will be worried about the government shutdown and Poe and troops aren’t going to let this crisis time go to waste.
