Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick had some harsh words the federal government as he made stops in the western part of the state today.
“It’s embarrassing," said Patrick.
“The Tea Party Republicans are playing a big game with the lives of some little people frankly,” he said. “I think that’s got to end.”
The democrat says this is not a new issue, but it has reached a new level.
“We have had perennial arguments over more than 200 years about what we want government to do or not do,” he said. “But rarely, until today, have we had a question about whether there should be a functioning federal government.”
So what action should be taken?
“No state can get the federal government to function,” Patrick said. “Congress has to get the federal government to function. The majority of members, Republicans and Democrats, in the House and Senate who believe the federal government should function need to stand up to that small number of Tea Party bullies.”
Patrick held a cabinet meeting and made stops in North Adams Friday.
A democrat blaming republicans. I’m shocked.

Does anyone take the clown Governors from New England seriously any more. The very seat of liberty has been corrupted by the Progressives and looks more and more like the Third World Countries of the EU.

I have a friend in Massachusetts with serious health problems in her family. She tends to be liberal, and at first she spoke well of Romneycare.
More recently, she seems to be coming to the realization that it just doesn’t work.
Obamacare is going to be a whole lot worse. The problem is, unless it is blocked soon enough, it will wreck the healthcare and insurance sectors, and returning to what we had before will be pretty much impossible. Kind of like the troubles the Soviet Union had switching over to capitalism after 70 years of Communist wrecking of the economy. It’s better than it was in Russia, but things are still basically a mess.
If we don’t block this destructive program NOW, our children will be in for decades of trouble, if not worse.
He must mean the thousands that have been dropped back to part time and are suffering in other ways because of OBAMACARE; and other thousands that are unemployed because of our socialist and debt ridden economy.
They seemed to work fine then. Apparently pensions have improved.
