Like the hundreds of World War II veterans who came to National Mall to pay their respects this week, a group of Vietnam veterans found a barricade blocking the way to their memorial Friday. News4's Mark Segraves said two U.S. Park Service Rangers manning the gate asked that the group respect the government's shutdown but moved aside.
Segraves described the exchange as pleasant and respectful.
The veterans then moved the barricade and walked down to the wall to pay their respects. But a flood of tourists followed even though the memorial is closed to the general public.
U.S. Park Police arrive to the scene, asked everyone to leave and put the barricade back into place.

Yes, almost all of the press are morally bankrupt. How do we punish them? Turn off the TV is on way. Don’t support their sponsors is another. I have called for boycotts for a long time. You don’t have to target every business, just the ones who sponsor the propaganda that somehow passes for news.
I know I’m dreaming but the federal employees are citizens too and they have a responsibility to not only uphold the law but a moral obligation to choose the harder right. The NPS ranger that reported that the administration gave orders to cause the public as much pain as possible did the right thing. It was reported as well. Not enough people choose to do right. Instead they allow themselves to be intimidated by an illegitimate government.
FYI
The comments are horrid. What kind of society do we live in?
Maybe we should declare the Southern Border an American War Memorial!

These are the same putrid LIEberals who spat on our returning Vietnam Vets to show as their appreciation. Guess this is their encore performance. Scrooge them tasbards to hot hades.....Vets..we salute you all for your service and thanks a million.
Democrats and Obama were 100% behind Occupy Wall Street but are fighting Americans who wish to lawfully visit, not occupy, the Vietnam Wall Memorial
Totally FUBAR
It is time for Patriots to peacefully occupy Washington until this bull crap is halted.
Simple:
Occupy our War Memorials!
If this is the way this regime reacts to opposition on principled grounds there really is no telling what they will try to do faced with an uprising...which is what they will get soon....
