If people were paying attention his approval rating should be somewhere between 7% and negative 15%

Because obamacare has not sunk in with low info voters. Case and point, I’m having dinner with lib friends last night. They are retired so right now they are not impacted by obamacare. I started telling them about the premiums and deductibles and they did not believe me. When this reality finally hits the log info voters... the democratic party is toast.

I was just thinking, if this country wasn’t so dumbed-down, he wouldn’t even be there. Every sign of what he’s doing now was there right from the start. The pettiness, the vindictiveness, the tyranny. If this country wasn’t so dumbed-down, they’d care about their own freedom. But they think “freedom” is the right to shag anything, anywhere, anytime. No matter if Big Brother watches you do it.
He gets high numbers because that percentage of the country has chosen security over freedom.
This was once the land of the free because of the brave. People are no longer brave enough to fight tyranny. They want their government benefits more.

Easy...47% of voters get at least one type of welfare = 47% approval.
Nationally, Democrats have a base level of support of about 40%. Republicans have a base level of support of about 33-35%. Getting below those numbers requires something we haven’t seen at least for decades. This is part of why Presidential elections have been decided not so much on changing minds, but in who goes to vote.
