To be perfectly honest, confronting these Park Rangers is not the correct course...
The Secretary of the Interior, and the President of the United Staes are to be held accountable for this outrage!!!
Not even the fact that I am a Veteran myself, should I be afforded an exception I am anyone else needs to visit these memorials, any of them!!!
I just got off the phone with my guy up there, and he said he and some of the Texas Delegation are signing a letter condemning these restrictions...
Big Deal!!! Nothing will be read, nothing will be done...
Plane fare is going to be a real bear of a deal, and if we have to “occupy” these facilities, then that sounds to me lie a really good idea...But I am thinking there are not enough of us, and too few that could afford such a road trip...Much less the time...
I would not waste a breath on the Park Rangers...

I am incredulous at how tone deaf the administration is about the WWII Memorial issue. It is just plain dumb on their part to let their opponents take the moral high ground. And even to give their enemies a physical rallying point!
When this issue broke earlier this week, the only reason I could see for the administration to do this was the belief that they could score a photo op of the WWII vets being tearfully turned away. That way, they could blame the Pubbies. When it did not happen, the smart thing to do would have been to quietly remove the barriers or just look the other way. I thought that was what was happening on Wednesday. Instead it looks like they are more than doubling down.
I read that another Honor Flight is scheduled for Wednesday October 9. That may be the key date. Will it be Selma or Omaha Beach?
