Multiple mentions made by the liberal-leaning FNC commentators, at least one being A.B.Stoddard of The Hill, highlight that 'some' of the LEOs (Capitol Police & US Secret Service) are doing their duties 'unpaid'. Yes, they did their job in this chaotic incident with the automobile attack, but unpaid - really?

When I heard that Steny Hoyer had ordered a standing ovation for the capitol cops, I knew that a white guy had just shot an unarmed black woman. Just watch..this is all window dressing.
They did their job? A woman with a baby in the back seat runs into a barrier, and they go totally bananas, running around with assault rifles, wrecking police cars, shutting down the capital, shutting off the White House, etc., etc.
All because of what probably amounted to a minor traffic violation? It clearly wasn’t a terrorist assault. So, why did they have all that crazy stuff going on, which could easily have resulted in the deaths of innocent bystanders?
