My understanding re: Somali women, is that ninety-eight percent of them undergo Grade 3 FMG. It is a horrible mutilation of a female’s privates and leaves them scarred emotionally and physically. You do not have to be born in Africa as it is common to have it in countries that Somali girls/women settle. To be pregnant is an extremely unpleasent event!
