Rep. Sean Duffy (R-Wis.) reported being the victim of a minor assault outside the Capitol Wednesday night.
The congressman told U.S. Capitol Police he was walking from the Longworth House Office Building for votes when "a random individual, unknown to the congressman, began screaming at him and grabbed his arm," according to Duffy's spokeswoman.
A spokesman for Capitol Police said they are investigating. Duffy was unharmed in the incident, according to his office.
"He reported the incident in compliance with House security procedures," Duffy's spokeswoman said. "Congressman Duffy has requested no further action be taken and there will be no further comment on the matter at this time."

The Hill: “victim of a MINOR assault”
If Harry or Schumer were the victim, that word would be changed to something like “aggressive” or “rare” or “troubling”.
The little prick who did this should feel thankful Duffy did not knock his little ass flat. There is one dude nobody should think they can fool with. Duffy has competed in lumberjack contests.
This kind of stuff happens to the state legislators in WI on a semi-regular basis. My guess is that one of them made it to DC.
This could be something nefarious. Remember in Madison WI, 2011 teachers and union thugs went bizurk and attacked GOP Senators and Assembly reps at the capitol. I wouldn’t be surprised if his was directed by an 0bama related group.
Soft tyranny is turning hard.
Wendy McDaniels Hey Herr Gehling: Maybe Benishek will see the light when he wakes up with a donkey head in his bed.
This is a post on congressman Benisheks Facebook page
democrats and obama in particular are inciting violence with the loaded language they are using (having incited racial violence for months with the legend of Trayvon)
using terms like terrorist, bomb throwers, hostage takers, ideological fanatics, gun holders.... makes it seem reasonable for unbalanced people to see Republicans as violent threats, not a political party with different views
Or own Congressman Sarbanes, (a limp useless dork who got his job because of his fathers name and stoopid MD voters in 3 counties) sent an email to our HOME calling Republicans- our family- these names
SEIU paid McDonald’s workers?
I don’t want to ruin a good story or rant, for that matter, but did the Rep have an
R tattooed on his forehead?
Was he screaming I am a Republican?
Was he wearing a FUBO T Shirt?
How would a ‘random’ interloper get lucky enough to ‘grab’ an R?
Kind of like “A man was visiting Ireland and was set upon by 2 thugs.
When asked who he was supporting he answered I am Jewish!. Whereupon the attackers said ‘Hot Dog! We have to be the luckiest Arabs in all of Ireland’.”.
Why yes. the fake ‘spitting’ incident comes to mind
The Left is spoiling for a fight - a physical one. Back down to it and we’ll get it every time.
Drudge has this front and center...not a joke the number really does spell out....
Simply dial 1-800-FUCKYO to reach the next available health-care provider.
Far from being a mistype, thats the official number that Health and Human Services wants Americans to dial when seeking health care. Obamacares national call center really did list its number as 1-800-318-2596, helpfully spelling out President Barack Obamas tendency to blatantly flip the bird in plain view.
Just recall, Pubbies don't fight back.
Businesses in Arizona can’t hire anyone because state law says you have to check employees through eVerify to make sure they are eligible for employment in the US. Barry Barrycaded eVerify so Arizona citizens cannot be hired in Arizona.
I guarandamntee you that number was chosen on purpose.
Hmmm. Sure seems like that’s what they are doing right now, unless I missed something.
It’s the conservatives who are fighting back; the GOPe is just hanging on for the ride...
ROTFLOL!
accosted
not assaulted
