Probably a month or two months ago, I received a notice from my insurance carrier informing that, for my benefit, they had contracted with a Company to send a nurse to my home to help me access and plan my medical needs, at no cost to me. And they closed with a “Please call this number to schedule an appointment.” I called the number and informed them that I did not need or want the assistance of a nurse and do not send one to my house. The lady on the phone responded with, “That is alright, you have the rest of this year and next year. After that such visits will be mandatory,” We both hung up our phones.

That sounds like those mandatory “home inspections”. Several threads on Free Republic on it.

Buy a pit bull, tie the dog outside your front door, and let the pit bull greet the “nurse.”

I got a care assessment form from my HMO. I stuck in the drawer. I know it was meant for Obama. They are going to put everybody with arthritis in one lump, diabetics in another lump, cancer patients, and so on. They will then print out a gazillion page report telling us how sick we are.

By the time the IRS is tailing us with the DHS drones as backup, we will end up being much sicker.
