The pressure is on conservatives at the grassroots level. The conservative moment needs to improve its organization and outreach effectiveness and galvanize the voting base for next year’s elections. In 2014, as a result of this, it is all gonna come down to conservatives who make as strong as statement as possible. They cannot afford to say screw it like many of them did last year.

He’s crazy. He has an opportunity for a line item veto of sorts. He should take that opportunity, and he could be a hero if he will do things the way the Republicans are offering. And he could cut the deficit massively this way. He’s too stupid to do it though.
