The Manhattan DA’s office won’t press charges against one of the motorcycle thugs who allegedly terrorized and beat a man after a wild chase on the West Side Highway, and is reluctant to prosecute another, sources said Wednesday. Allen Edwards, 43, of Queens, who allegedly smashed Alexian Lien’s rear driver’s side window with his fist, surrendered to cops Tuesday morning but will not be charged, the sources said.

And I still have fun today on my bike, regularly breaking many traffic laws (speeding, wheelies, etc) - but not in a big gang on busy urban highways. My idea of fun just doesn’t happen to include scaring other road users witless through erratic riding on crowded roads, or threatening and attacking innocent drivers who happen to get in my way.
In the future, I suggest the SUV driver get a Hummer with a
grill guard for future encounters with maniac bikers.

The video does not show anything after the suv rear ended the MC, except within seconds of bikers stopping, the SUV is partially seen running over something and even that's not clear in the video.
But subsequently it's established the suv guy was literally in the process of running over motorcycles and people as it's speculated he panicked.

It was also said in early reports the bikers initially slashed suv guys tires...Yet how is it possible suv guy drove many miles after the initial contact?
Watch out for initially reports and comments from police or media.
Yes the bikers were a mix of knuckleheads and thugs but it all started when the Chinese SUV driver panicked and ran over one guys legs (an aspiring rapper who is now hospitalized) and other guys bikes which they just might take personally
For all the alleged violence and terrorism waged against Chinese guy and his family... He was in and out of the hospital in two hours. Treated for minor wounds.

Well, suv guy initially rear ended the MC, as MC slowed to a near stop...The SUV should have been able to avoid rear ending him because it appeared the point of initial impact was only about 10 MPH, based on the video.
That being said, it's odd how the media and some people have these MC guys as being a vicious biker gang of murdering baby killers....lol
Granted, they might be AH's pulling stunts on the road but it seems that would not excuse someone in a car from running them over, causing extremely serious injury.
IMO, I think after suv guy rear ended the MC, everyone stopped and there was probably some yelling at the suv driver and suv driver panicked and fled, literally running people over in the process.
Again, the video does not clearly depict what happened after the initial collision and stop.

The video shows the motorcycle hitting the SUV front bumper then shows at least on motorcyclist banging on the SUV.

If you look at the SUV when it pulled away from the second stop, the left rear is deflated.
I believe what I saw with my own eyes in the video....TexasGator is correct in his opinion of what happened....
