Yes it is. WIC is very restrictive on what you can buy. Whole grains. Fruits and vegetables. Juice. Formula. You cannot buy sugary cereals or junk food. EBT needs to be as restrictive as WIC.
And this teen mother with a 2 year old and 11 month old needs to close her legs. Accident once? Sure. Two? That's not an accident, it's a plan for more free stuff.

The kids aren't getting fat on fruits and vegetables (fruit juice---maybe). WIC fraud is common; they're probably getting any kind of junk they want.

WIC is the most abused program in the country. The vast majority of women get WIC; regardless of need. It’s as bad as school lunches and just as politically motivated.
It is nothing more than a back-door method to price fix dairy products and subsidize other select foodstuffs from politically savvy manufacturers. If it stopped today, the food would be available from charities—just like before WIC ever started.
The government has no business in charity. None at all.
