I had a run-in with a LIV this morning that was blaming the House Republicans for the shutdown. I asked him why he would be blaming the legislative body that actually passed a bill and not blame the legislative body that refuses to act?
His response was that it was because the republicans want to get rid of Obamacare, so they are to blame. I responded that I hoped that they were successful and that 60% of the people agreed.
Then he responded with a list of AARP talking points. He knows the AARP points were true, because he went to one of their lectures for an hour and a half. He had no concept that the AARP is profiting to the tune of nearly $3B as in BILLION with Obamacare. In his mind, the AARP doesn’t profit from their insurance policies....
He claimed that the bill is NOT 2700 pages, but 1100 pages. That costs were going to go down. Etc. In other words, “Don’t believe your lyin eyes!”
So, I concluded with, “You have convinced me! I agree, from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs!”
He got all excited and agreed with that statement. Once I pointed out that he agreed with Marx, he said, “well, then you should just move to another country a-hole!”
Yep, a marxist again is advocating eliminating his political opponents!
The problem with livs is that most are so stupid you can’t have a rational conversation with them.
To win we need the squishy middle which we will get as soon as they start logging on to obacare for healthcare which is not avalibale,.LOL!
It is quite possible that Obiecare will actually end up inceasing the ranks of the uninsured.
Now that is a talking point I would love to hear repeatedly.
