I'm doing OK with bourbon. For now anyway.
This needs to get broad play. Put it on your email lists, twitter it, FB it. Let’s get it out there.
Our country needs us.
It’s common knowledge, most of the executive branch agencies are jobs programs for them. VA and TSA are the biggest examples.

Thank you.
Blame the guy who gave the orders, not the government employees who are following orders.
I'd say something different if this were an illegal order (i.e., shoot the veterans), but so far, the orders are legal and we need to hold accountable the elected officials and senior appointed officials who gave those bad orders, not the worker bees. Some orders need to be obeyed, others need to be reported, and in this case, "reporting the orders" means telling the American citizens so we can get rid of bad elected officials.

That sort of tactic, i.e., having a sympathetic victim who tugs the heartstrings on both sides of the issue, was used by the leftists with groups like Vietnam Veterans Against the War. There is no reason conservatives can't use it, too.
Think like a community organizer. The other side does... and some of their tactics not only work, but are entirely appropriate to use. I really like this comment, which is spot on:

Absolutely agree.
I tell you I despise this man so much that I am ashamed to share the same species designation as him.
But at the same time, I am also of the same species as our WWII vets, and I am proud.
Those are heroes. True honest to God heroes.
And to see them disrespected by this ******* piece of **** Obama makes me want to projectile vomit.
I wonder if the guy driving that front loader is a Vet? Or just another Obama slider?
Thanks, darrellmaurina.
A sobering thought:
What if the Barry-cades are only the first step?
Anyone remember the Bonus Army?
Normandy, was also closed we when got there!!!...Hussein Obama...tear down theses BARRYcades!!!
The thought crossed my mind that every Republican senator and congressman should be outside clearing the way for those vets. News reports state a few have been there but where are the rest? MIA, that’s where.
RE Bonus Army:
I remember reading about it, yes... not a sterling moment in our history.
I agree.
Your pic of a sign saying Mr President. This ass King Obama is not my president and he is a communists black Muslim and the filth of the earth. He is an insult to the title Mr.
Amen to that.
There are no adequate words to describe the filthy, evil scum.
Someone at the WW II Memorial barrycades beat you to it—check out the photos here:
My favorite slogan from that site: “Normandy was closed when we got there too!” God bless these guys.

Obama is moving into the same league as Stalin and Hitler. He’ll do what ever he can get away with.
He’s filthy and evil.
Yup, I know about the bonus army.
But it’s a different era and a different situation. I can’t imagine the outrage - physically violent outrage - that would erupt if this administration decided to employ police state tactics against geriatric veterans looking for nothing more than to honor old comrades.
I’ve seen the Patriot Guard in action. Also been to several Memorial Day “Rolling Thunders” (as a spectator) in DC. From the looks of this the Administration has figured out that having vets defy their petty, spiteful edicts isn’t creating the visuals or narrative they were looking for ... and have officially reopened the WWII memorial to them.
Just as they are on everything MIA.
Or worse, working with the enemy.
But there are a handful of good ones who were with the vets, and I very much appreciate those efforts.
