Not really. Obamacare includes Expanded Medicaid in states that approved it. Income up to roughly $33,500 for a family of four. Not really "dirt poor" in my neck of the woods.
If you are relying on that kind of fiction for your education about Obamacare you are going to end up being worse than a low information voter...more like a NO information voter... Please go to proper sources to look up information.
Convert to Islam or Amish and you’re exempt from OCare.
Wow! I though the first year fine was $95?
Another question, was the $14k yearly deductible yours to pay before the insurance kicked in?
I’d like to but the official sources are down/nearly unresponsive due to heavy traffic. (At least they were last night)
Do you have alternate sources of info? It’s why I asked.
A major hurdle is the ability to get a policy across state lines.
Sure. That can be fixed. There is a whole list of things can be done. They all include getting rid of Govt involvement.
The ObamaCARE system will be death camps
where those to die by neglect,
and those to have their organs taken by force
(for more important Congress and union leaders,
and their staff, and relatives)
will PAY FOR THE “HONOR”.
I understand and my state’s enrollment site was inaccessible most of yesterday.
But I would search for legitimate published articles covering the questions you have, such as the penalty for no coverage. I probably have read over 100 articles in the past two years on the subject. The enrollment websites probably aren’t the optimal source for this type of information anyway.
If you have a state exchange you will need to wait for access to that to get information on the particular plans available in your state. Once you know the names of the insurers and the titles of the approved plans then you can go to the insurer’s website in many cases. If no state exchange then the fed website.
Good luck. If you need coverage by January 1 then make sure you are enrolled by December 15th.
“Is it time yet, Claire...?”
See post #4. Once you register, you can opt out... but then your penalties are detailed for you, in very clear and ominous language.
See post #4. It’s $4000, plus potential federal liens on your home and bank accounts.
Add those in, and you get your first dollar of benefits after you’ve spent $6500. What a deal!
I have no idea where these liars are coming up with their information.
I managed to look at some of the plan terms for Colorado. People are going to be blown away at the costs. Pretty much around $600.00/month for an individual for a low end plan with around $5,000.00 deductible and $6,000.00 out of pocket.
I assume the purpose of their lies is that, while nearly everyone will see double or even triple the claimed amounts, that everyone will think it’s just them that’s being screwed and that everyone else is getting the $300.00/month rate. That way the liars hope to avoid the nation’s citizens figuring out that EVERYONE got screwed and revolting against the Commie/Democrats/Progressives/Marxists/Socialists.
I think this is all a ruse. There is no way the figures the guy quoted are right.
Also, be careful of Infowars. There is a reason Jim will not allow his garbage to be posted here.
Yeah, but hey, you can get a free check-up in the middle of all that non-covered care....
