Barry-cades become symbol of Obama’s shutdown.
Morgen Richmond, of the former Verum Serum blog, has been doing great research on the closure of parks and monuments in Washington, D.C. by Obama and the Democrats, revealing rank hypocrisy and mean-spiritedness.
For example, The White House now claims that it needed to erect barricades at the WWII Memorial to keep out vistors, including a group of visiting WWII veterans, because parks service personnel know how to perform CPR. (Seriously, that’s the claim.)
But Morgen demonstrated that the WWII memorial is open 24 hours a day, but only staffed part of the day, which means that for much of the time it’s open there are no parks service personnel there at all. Such much for the bogus CPR defense.

The web sites are the worst. They went through real work to shut down some web sites, but the National Endowment for the Arts web site is still up, and was actually UPDATED with a message saying it would not be updated during the shutdown.
Barry has again over-played his hand to get what he wants which is as you stated. This will turn on him badly. I wish I was in DC to see the vets—the greatest generation—once again save the country.
This is the liberal mentality — the american people can’t even walk around outside unless the government has trained CPR specialists available for them. Government is like our nanny.
Oh if only the bikers were still in town. I would imagine quite a few of them would take a stroll across the MALL and dare the JBTs in this government to arrest them.
I would hope all freepers who have the ability and a nearby closed outdoor federal monument would take the time to visit it.
If arrested, demand a jury trial. Jury nullification would be a slam dunk.

WHAT? Is he not paying attention? Tricare, as stated by my many friends ON Tricare... is changing, being diminished in both coverage and up in cost.
They are disgusted by the way the Obama Hussein group is trashing military health coverage. These folks have 20 - 30+ years in military and this is the thanks they are given?
Just punishing those who he feels are ‘responsible’ for making him look even more foolish.

Boehner should bring over every House GOPer and knock them down themselves. That would be quite a bit of street theater. Then they demand that Obama knock this nonsense off and negotiate with them.
The final outcome is a restoration of government services and a suspension of Obamacare until Oct. 1 2014. Just to give them time to get it right.
