I agree. Let patients pay doctors and hospitals directly and the market would set the pirces. Hospitals and doctors can then offer payment plans to low income folks and collect the majority of what cannot be paid right away.
The free market would soon level the playing field of value in medical services if they stripped out the middlemen players.
The insurance companies just like Wall St are siphoning off the wealth of the USA in a corrupt game that they refer to as financial services. It means the few get big cuts of big deals in their casino, and produce relatively nothing of worth, while those who produce real stuff that benefits society and makes it more secure get the crumbs.
Advertising, Wall St, Hollywood playing pretend, celebrity status gained by using taxpayer funded facilities and the lawyers too. The system is corrupt while these players sold out our economy to the Chinese Commies, Mexico and etc.
