In Europe, nationalist means far right. They really do not understand small government at all over there. Nigel Farage is trying to educate them about that. Basically if you are for an EU union and socialism, you are a leftist. If you are for your nation and you want fascism, you are far right. They only squabble about the degree of big government control, not if big government should be in control. Orwell had them all pegged many years ago.
