Flanked by new beneficiaries of his health law, President Obama on Tuesday publicly admonished Republicans in the House to “reopen the government” rather than continue to block federal spending to battle the three-year-old Affordable Care Act.
“As long as I am president, I will not give in to reckless demands by some in the Republican Party to deny affordable health insurance to millions of hard-working Americans,” Mr. Obama said, adding with a gesture toward his guests in the sunny Rose Garden, “I want Republicans in Congress to know – these are the Americans you’d hurt if you were allowed to dismantle this law.”
The president’s televised appearance captured the split-screen aspect of the first day of October: The first day of a new fiscal year dawned to a government shuttered for lack of new funding, yet for the first time putting into effect a key piece of the health-care law that is at the center of the budget showdown between the parties. Tuesday was the first day that uninsured Americans, about 15 percent of the population, could start enrolling in the state-based insurance marketplaces, known as exchanges, created by the 2010 law.

Hey Obama, how about this for compromise..how about you, Pelosi, Reid, your union buddies and all of their families all sign up for Obamacare..let them have it for oh, about 6 months and see how they like it..I know I know, they are exempt but come on Obama, your all about “compromise” right..if Obamacare is SO great then you won’t mind having all of your buddies sign up for it

Today is the first day of open enrollment. Many Americans are about to find out that sitting on their ass while Obamacare is implemented isn’t something they can afford to do.

Of course he doesn’t talk about the people who are being hurt by the implementation of the health care law, such as the blue collar friend of mine who got laid off by his company due to rising health care costs. And can’t find anything other than part-time work. But you see those are just unfortunate casualties of a weak economy, Obamacare had nothing to do with it.
I know that..what Obama and his minions want to do is what progressives have always wanted to do..they have been salivating at the opportunity to finally control who lives and who dies..it will be just like the IRS, if your a Conservative, you dont get tax exempt status, if your a liberal, you do..same thing with health care..you need a new kidney, wait, your a Republican, sorry, you dont get one..Oh you need a kidney, and your a liberal, you get one..that is how it will work
America is under dictatorship. 0bama has made some attempts to make it appear that we aren’t, BUT WE ARE UNDER A DICTATORSHIP. I would not be surprised if 0bama issues EO’s which end the shut down and “FORWARDS” 0bamacare with no resistance.
