Freeze dried foods, check.
Pool Shark, check. (tiny amounts in water makes water safe to drink-or so I have been told).
Gasoline for cars and generators, check.
Bike tires inflated and bike in good shape - if EMP strike were to happen, cars electronics would render most cars undriveable - hence the bikes!)
Water, check.
Propane, check.
Items for self defense or for hunting, not checked - I guess pepper spray or a kick to the groin will have to do for now.
Mess kit, not checked yet.
Coleman lantern, not checked yet. (I'm starting to feel antsy about these "not checked" items.)
RX for Mr. h, for me, and for dogs, check. OTC medicines/items for various contingencies (gauze, bandages, aspirin, check.
Most recent Key Map with various routes out of city highlighted - not checked yet - I better get on this - how much time do we have until society crumbles like the crumbles on an apple crumble pie?
Some good reading, check.
Clothes & shoes, check.
Sleeping bag - not checked yet.
If the Internet goes completely dark tomorrow, we won't know if its the Internet going down because of EMP/Internet shut down by.....TPTB/or if a cable got jostled and its just "operator error".
So, if it looks like the Internet has gone dark, check for the usual "operator errors" and, for heaven's sake, make sure you have your computer plugged in. People, don't get all hysterical until you go through all the OE's you know.
