Drug customers get prosecuted for drug possession, not for conspiracy to sell drugs. (If anyone tried to prosecute them for that, the courts would throw it out.) That's what Arizona was doing here--prosecuting illegal aliens for "conspiracy to smuggle aliens" when the only aliens they were conspiring to smuggle were themselves. It was a totally bogus charge, and good for the courts in putting a stop to it.

So the court is saying,it is not a crime to hire well known drug cartel criminals in Mexico, paying them upfront thousands of dollars to smuggle them into America bringing the often-violent drug cartel criminal smugglers, into America putting communties&law enforcement at risk and the court is saying, that this is legal and illegals are free to hire any well known drug cartel smugglers they wish without any repercussions from American law enforcement.?Hiring drug cartels is legal now ?
