Well, yes. However, the legal standard is self-contradictory. In my opinion, that leaves the situation open, in today’s moral climate, for ever greater legal permission for adults to have sex with children.

Particularly so if they have not been raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Far too many parents simply let the public schools do the "sex education" part, and either don't worry about the spiritual wellbeing of their children, or pawn all responsibility off to the "professionals" at church.

No matter if you are being the best parent you can be, you still have to save some kids from themselves. They're not good at seeing around corners and only live for the next 5 minutes, not knowing or caring about consequences.
