George Irizarry will get his guns back.
The Hazleton man known for wearing a gun on his hip to demonstrate his Second Amendment rights had all charges dismissed stemming from a Feb. 3 incident in which he drew a gun on a man walking through yards near his home on West Maple Street.
After dismissing the charges following a preliminary hearing Friday afternoon, Magisterial District Judge James Dixon instructed police to return weapons Irizarry surrendered under Dixon's order in July.
Michael Andrejco testified he had walked between homes and reached a sidewalk on West Maple Street when Irizarry put a silver revolver to his head and said: "If you move, I'm going to kill you."

The officer shook Irizarry's hand, Colon testified, and said the police had been looking for Andrejco, 28, of Weatherly, who is in Carbon County prison for a charge of driving while intoxicated and faces a charge of shoplifting from the night Irizarry stopped him.

The day is coming when we will find out just what "many" actually works out to be.
And many more don’t. Never trust a cop. Never.
Anyone that knows me knows I’m all for the 2A and maintaing that right.
However, if someone walked between my house and the house next door, I’d probably watch him carefully to see where he’s going and what it looks like he’s up to.
Unless he were virtually threatening me, I don’t think I’d put a gun to his head.
About the same number as the number of Vichy French police that refused to round up Jews for the Nazis.
Yep
Spot on. Don’t trust ‘em. Refuse any order, and they’ll arrest you on “suspicion of being a drug dealer” and “threatening a law-enforcement officer”. Guess whose word the judge will believe in court, especially when they are supported by others wearing the same colours.
Forgot: if it is in a public area, they can just arrest your money as it could have been used in an interrupted drug deal.
DA Michelle Hardik (yes, that’s her surname) brought the idiotic charges.
Yeah, that does seem a little extreme. If someone is on my property uninvited they will be asked to leave. If they do not then they will be told to leave. If they do not comply, or in any way move towards me they will be staring down the barrel of a firearm. At that point they will be told to get face down on the ground. Failure to comply with that order shows hostile intent and I will fire. I don't shoot to wound.
Praise the Lord for any small victories we get and never take ANY of them for granted.
Do you think cops have always been untrustworthy, even 1, 20 or 30 years ago ? Or is it a more recent phenomenon whereas cops have become blatantly untrustworthy.
If someone comes onto my property, coydogs and raccoons will attack him. I am not responsible for wild animal attacks on trespassers.
Power corrupts always has. Whats changed is the miltary training weapons and technology. I read that a county in texas just got its first mrap
In WW2 the French rounded up more Jews then the Nazis had called for.
That’s why it’s always a good thing to keep your pay stub on you for awhile.
I agree.
Exactly.

Idiotic Charges: GUILTY
False Advertising: NOT GUILTY
Agree. Just too young & shtoopid to be a DA. Needs some lib-reverser antidote and common sense injections. And then Hillsdale’s U.S. Constitution course.
