Get Robot Chicken to make the new ones.

If the next movies are in any way PC, Disney will likely lose big time over this. They paid something like $4 billion dollars for the whole thing.
If you throw in the cost of making the films, each film is going to have to make a billion dollars and they are going to have to make at least 6 films to get their money back.

STAR WARS should omit "Jar Jar on Tattooine."

And the STAR WARS Galactic Empire should have 'real people actors.'

Tonight, I win for 'Best images on the STAR WARS FreepThread.'
This subplot should be omitted from the final draft screenplay.

Instead we’re going to get CGI/Green Screen everything, gay/bi/lesbian/transgender characters, leftist propaganda plot, and there’s going to be a 10:1 ratio of aliens/minority character to every white human one.

Now what Luke wants to do is go to Toshi station to pick up some power converters
And all this time I thought it was
Tosche Station.

Will star wars ever be free of token cute/comedic relief characters like jar-jar Binks, ewoks, etc?
Jar-jar wasn’t well received and George reacted as if people had insulted his first love.
Ewoks were introduced to appeal to children.
Which got ridiculous.
“Emperor’s best” elite troops defeated by bug eyed teddy ruxpin toys.
And the trashing of canon.
Vader wanted more power, became a sith: episode 4.
Vader wanted to save Padme, became a stupid dupe: episode 3.
Already accomplished pilot when I met him: episode 4
Pod racing plastic toned kid whose great piloting accomplishment was “do a barrel roll”: episode 1

R2-D2 was cute. And the Jawas. Some people find Yoda cute.

In episodes 4,5, and 6, R2,the jawas, and Yoda served real purpose.
Jar-jar and the ewoks?
Not so much, they seemed to be afterthoughts inserted in at the last second.
Focus group brainchildren seemingly.

Star Wars (
A New Hope, Episode IV, whatever, for those into bizarre revisionism) was popular because it stole some ideas from classic sci-fi that the general public wasn't familiar with, had a few (a very few) new ones, and actually had special effects that convinced you that the Secondary World was possible ... even real.
The Empire Strikes Back was popular because it was a great film, largely because George Lucas was in the middle of a divorce and had little, if anything, to do with it.
The rest of it was mostly crap. Did George Lucas even see the first two films?
Anyway, J.J. Abrams treatment of Star Trek has been respectful without being slavish, and it hasn't really been filled with PC junk; typically he and his writers are interested in a good story more than a political line (although, Person of Interest was unfortunately in weird territory from time-to-time in Season II.)
We'll see. One out of three original Star Wars movies were good. The rest were awful. That's not a very high bar.

The beginning of the end: “Star Wars Holiday Special”
Incoherent, the holiday of “life day” is never explained nor actually made into anything the viewers should care about.
And..the treatment of Chewbacca’s entire family: one huge comedic insert with Art Carney to boot.
The only “good” thing that came from the SWHS was... Bona Fett.
It was his first appearance.
Riding a dinosaur in mud.

The money is going to be in licensing: toys, theme park attractions and more. The films are just commercials.

Although George Lucas officially denied that the SWHS was part of his vision for Star Wars it was a little too close to the Ewok Adventure in tone and style for those protestations to ring true. And coming from the guy who made Howard The Duck .. well, you know ...
