The No. 2 officer at the military command in charge of all U.S. nuclear war-fighting forces is suspected in a case involving counterfeit gambling chips at a western Iowa casino and has been suspended from his duties, officials said.
Navy Vice Adm. Tim Giardina has not been arrested or charged, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation special agent David Dales said Saturday. The state investigation is ongoing.
Giardina, deputy commander at U.S. Strategic Command, was suspended on Sept. 3 and is under investigation by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, a Strategic Command spokeswoman said.
The highly unusual action against a high-ranking officer at Strategic Command was made more than three weeks ago but not publicly announced at that time. The command is located at Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha, Neb.

No, the gambling problems do not always show up early. I’m retired out of Offutt and we might go to the same casinos once or twice in a year. Many go a lot more often. There was a big trial recently involving one of the multi-millionaire family that started Oriental Trading Co. He hid the problem and was sheltered by the casinos in some ways for a number of years. There are other instances of people in responsible jobs who embezzle from local companies to support their gambling. There are also a number of lower-ranking military members who are caught doing these types of things every year but they don’t get the same media attention as a flag rank officer does.
Now, does this mean there isn’t more going on? That’s always a possibility. This bunch of Nazis is going for the complete purge and takeover but I’m not sure they are purging the military first. This is not the type of action that would set well with the military in general, up and down the ranks. This is not the Soviet Russian military in the 20s-30s.
For a minute there I thought you said “Fag” officers.
LOL
Could this really be happening?
how many naval commanders have been framed so far by Obama?

The rot goes from top to bottom.
>> but I am beginning to think it’s something more than just that.
The infamous litmus test allegations?
I think there is a serious contingent of career people in the US military that still has some pride and deeply, DEEPLY resents that their Commander-in-Chief is an African communist metrosexual faggot-hugging piece of sh**.
No doubt.
Here’s an odd comment in the official announcement:
“The suspension is yet another blow to the military’s nuclear establishment.”
Like they are trying to defame or hobble the command structure of our nuke forces. Something rotten is afoot.

or set-up?
Maybe replacing them with officers who will go to war if the UN security council decrees it.
Apparently Obama thinks they are the government and met with the UN last week to get them to wage war against Syria and Iran.

Or Israel...
There are way too many high ranking officers who will do anything their CIC tells them to do. I truly believe there are those who would nuke Texas if ordered to do so. And they will order attacks on civilians. The scary thing is the local cops will be right beside them.
Agreed.
I regret not having the confidence that all is well.
This is a weird one indeed.
