Don’t count on there being a trial. If the state puts mike mcqueary on the stand it will be the biggest disaster in the recent history of court cases. And they know this. They aren’t dealing with Amendola anymore. These guys have actual, competent attorneys.
The case will eventually be tossed on a technicality, which will allow the corrupt OAG to save some face, and also NOT allow key witnesses to be put under oath. Including the corrupt current president of the University.
Aren’t you curious as to why it took 7 months to put js in jail on 45 counts, yet well over 2 years for a trial for the Penn State officials to occur?
That doesn’t seem odd to you?
No, it does not. It took 4 years to try the clearly guilty Nadal Hasan at Ft Hood and 8 years for the false charges against Tom Delay to be dropped. These things sometimes move slowly. We will see if they go trial and how it turns out. The thing that really gets me about this whole mess is the NCAA. They gave SMU football the death penalty for paying players but gave PSU relatively light sanctions for what happened there. The NCAA’s position seems to be that harboring child molesters to protect the football program is a lesser offense than paying players to play. I wish that organization would just go away and conferences could handle their own issues as they see fit.
